Greenwich Trip

By: Bella Secchiaroli

Since the beginning of December, Bella and I have been dying to go down to Greenwich Avenue in Connecticut for the day. Finally after a busy holiday season we were able to make it down there last Tuesday the 29th. Unfortunately we are not old enough to drive but conveniently have an easily accessible train station right here in Milford. The train ride was about 50 minutes and we arrived in Greenwich at 2:10. Luckily, Greenwich Ave is a short walk from the Greenwich train station. Unlike other shopping trips we have taken, for this one we had no real plan and since we took this trip only a short while after Christmas there was nothing that we really needed. However the trip was still fun and a good experience. The great thing about Greenwich Ave is it has just about any store you could ever imagine but can also be extremely pricey. When we arrived at Greenwich we were hungry but we were saving our money for shopping. We stopped in Starbucks, grabbed a drink and decided that we would grab something bigger later.  We shopped in Kate Spade, J. Crew, Lululemon, Lilly Pulitzer, Brandy Melville and even a new boutique we found called Jenna and Rubys. It was definitely not a heavy shopping day but a place I would recommend for a big shopping trip and has just about every cute store under the sun. To top our day off we stopped at a make-your-own salad place and made our way back to the train station and home :-)).
